Sash window replacement can be a costly experience, it’s recommended that both sashes and box frame are replaced together, and depending on the size can run into hundreds, if not thousands of pounds.

Using a product called Dry fix, we can not only save time, and money, but the expense of replacing. It is guaranteed for ten years, and is an excellent alternative to fillers. There is also no need for a carpenter.
As with all our products, dry fix is a solvent based product, and can take the test of time against all our external weather conditions.
After the repair is complete, we then return to twice undercoat the area, clean and seal the glass, then gloss, or your chosen finish of paint.
Substance, and finish are a personal choice, only by using solvent or oil based the repair, and decoration will last much longer.
As you can see from our gallery, the finish is exactly the same as if it has been replaced using hard timber, and our customers have commented on how satisfied they are with the end result.
